12. Cleveland Browns (via Philadelphia Eagles)

As mentioned before, the Cleveland Browns are fortunate enough to have two picks in the top 12 of this year’s draft thanks to a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles last year in which they acquired Carson Wentz. Even if the Browns would have benefitted from drafting a talented player like Wentz, that doesn’t mean they can’t take advantage of this year’s quarterback class.

When seeing how much the quarterback position has been an issue over the years, there’s no excuse for Cleveland to miss out on this rare opportunities like they have with players in the past. After dealing with all of the different quarterbacks in 2016, the only one that even deserves consideration for a shot next year is Robert Griffin III, but there’s no guarantee he even has what it takes to run this offense in the future.

For a team that ranked near the bottom of the league in both offense and defense during the 2016 season, the Browns find themselves in the perfect position to take advantage of both areas early on in the upcoming draft. Of course, if they can’t take advantage of this glorious situation, there really is no hope for Cleveland in the future.
