24. Oakland Raiders: Alabama LB Reuben Foster

To see the Oakland Raiders finally put together a winning season after years of suffering was amazing for the NFL, but also a tragedy at the same time since their dreams of making a deep run in the playoffs fell short after an early loss to the Houston Texans. One of the main reasons why this was so crushing for the Raiders is due to the fact they most likely would have competed better with a healthy Derek Carr under center.

Still, just because Oakland suffered an early exit in the playoffs doesn’t mean this team shouldn’t be excited about what’s in store for the future, even if their fans do have to deal with the move to Las Vegas. Until the move officially happens, Raiders fans should be excited about the potential surrounding their team being capable of making a run for the Super Bowl.

With Carr having plenty of weapons to work with on offense, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Oakland focus on defense with their first pick, which is where Alabama’s Reuben Foster comes into play. Foster’s blazing speed and ability to overcome anyone standing in his way makes him a very attractive option in the first round for teams to consider, and while there is a chance he could be taken well before No. 24, the Raiders need to act fast if he’s still available.
