Seattle Seahawks (October 8)

For reasons that are difficult to explain, despite all of the struggles over the years, the Los Angeles Rams still seem to find a way to play their best football against the Seattle Seahawks, although Jared Goff certainly didn’t appreciate his first start against the NFC West rivals late last year. Seeing the Rams win four of the last six games in this rivalry is the perfect example of how successful they’ve managed to be, and hopefully that trend continues throughout the 2017 season.

The first of two meetings between these teams will take place in Week 5, and it looks like Los Angeles is considering the possibility of using this matchup as one of the games to rock the throwback uniforms. Even though the Seahawks destroyed the Rams in the second meeting between these teams last season, keep in mind Los Angeles did find a way to pull off the victory at home the first time around in Week 2 without scoring a single touchdown, which was quite impressive.

As mentioned before, Goff’s first experience with Seattle didn’t turn out so well, as the quarterback would eventually be evaluated for a concussion after taking a nasty shot from Richard Sherman. But hopefully this time around, Goff can figure out ways to avoid those costly hits against what should be another year of intense play from the Seahawks’ defense.
