Take a look at the official dates and times for the Los Angeles Rams 2017 preseason schedule.

The official start of meaningful football games may still be a few months away, but with the Los Angeles Rams releasing dates and times for the 2017 preseason schedule on Tuesday, at least fans have one more thing to look forward to until opening weekend against the Indianapolis Colts. And if that’s not exciting enough, at least this year’s preseason games will consist of some exciting matchups against playoff-caliber teams for the Rams.

Just like last year, Los Angeles will open up the 2017 preseason against the Dallas Cowboys, who turned out to be one of the biggest surprises last year after finishing with the best record in the NFC during the regular season at 13-3. Even if the team had to deal with a few adjustments to the offensive line this offseason, early signs point to the Cowboys being one of the top teams in the conference once again, especially since Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have a year of experience under their belts.

As far as the rest of the preseason schedule is concerned, take a look at the rest of the opponents for Los Angeles along with the dates and times for all four games, courtesy of the team’s site:

As fun as the other games against the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers should be, the one preseason game that sticks out the most is Week 3 when a new friendly rivalry gets underway for the first time against the Los Angeles Chargers. It’s crazy to think how Los Angeles has managed to land two new football teams over the last years, but at least it will make it exciting whenever the Rams and Chargers square off during the regular season.

Believe it or not, there actually seems to be some excitement surrounding Los Angeles heading into the 2017 season now that Sean McVay is officially on board as head coach. When considering all of the pressure that Jared Goff is facing heading into his sophomore season, this preseason will be a good indication of where he stands in his development process since the Rams have done everything in their power to help him reach the next level under center.
