Former Rams quarterback Kurt Warner continued the Pro Football Hall of Fame 2017 festivities on Friday by receiving his gold jacket.

Even though he was never officially a member of the team in California, Los Angeles Rams fans will always love and appreciate Kurt Warner for what he was able to accomplish during his time in St. Louis. With all of the events surrounding the Pro Football Hall of Fame 2017 taking place over the last few days, this has been a week that Warner and his family will never forget, including Friday’s memorable moment.

Warner, along with the rest of the players from this year’s class, received his gold jacket on Friday night, and just as fans would expect, it was pretty spectacular to watch. Just seeing the look on Warner’s face shows how appreciative of everything he was able to experience throughout his career, and Rams fans can’t wait to see him officially inducted on Saturday night.

As most football fans know, Warner has one of the greatest stories when it comes to his journey to the NFL after he was working at a grocery store before eventually making a return to the NFL. It sounds crazy to think about, but seeing Warner never give him on his dream is the perfect example of how much of an inspiration he is, and it’s safe to say nobody will ever have a story like his.

To see Warner go from bagging groceries to leading the Rams to a Super Bowl during the1999 season after putting together a historical season (4,353 passing yards with 41 touchdowns and just 13 interceptions) is truly amazing. After seeing Orlando Pace recognized last year, it’s awesome to see Warner receiving the special treatment this time around, as the Rams find themselves heavily involved with the Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremonies for the second year in a row.
