1. Can Jared Goff match last week’s performance?

Give Jared Goff credit for silencing a lot of critics last weekend following his stellar performance against the Oakland Raiders after leading the Los Angeles Rams to three impressive scoring drives. To top it off, Goff completed 16 of 20 passes for 160 yards to go along with a touchdown, but now the pressure is on the second-year quarterback to prove what took place against the Raiders wasn’t just a fluke.

In fact, based off how the defense of the Los Angeles Chargers has looked so far in preseason, Goff could be in for another big performance, but everyone knows that’s always easier said than done. After all of the time spent by the Rams during the offseason building a better offense, the pressure is on Goff to prove to the NFL world that he was worth being the No. 1 overall pick last year.

Even if it was only one preseason game, Goff’s performance against the Raiders gave the Rams hope about what’s in store at quarterback for the future, which is something the team hasn’t experienced in a very long time. And if Goff can find a way to come through against the Chargers, it will make the Rams and their fans feel even better about the situation.
