3 predictions for Rams and Saints in Week 12
By Steve Rivera
The Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints meet up in a Week 12 match-up that could see a lot of points scored in the LA Coliseum.
The Los Angeles Rams need a win in Week 12 when the New Orleans Saints roll into the Coliseum on Sunday. LA, coming off a tough loss in Minnesota 24-7, need a win if the playoffs are to be a tangible accomplishment for a 2017 season on the brink.

Can they beat a quality NFC South leader trending up?
That will be a tall order for a Rams team who looks like they might still be a year early at being a bonafide contender.
Los Angeles needs a win, it’s as simple as that.
After beating a slew of bottom feeders, the Rams are still a playoff contender, but maybe not yet a Super Bowl contender. If Los Angeles is the real deal, they’ll need to park the New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees in the LA win column.
Easier said than done.
At 7-3, the Rams are dangerously close to becoming only a “good story” in 2017. All things being equal, and given a disappointing 2016, that isn’t the worst thing to befell this Rams team.
But they are better than that, at least through 10 games.
A win this week keeps LA in the discussion for postseason play, while a loss can begin to place that in the discussion for 2018.
Count on Drew Brees to being part of that discussion.
