Goff throwing zero interceptions on road so far in 2017 has been amazing for Rams

When it comes to all of the impressive numbers put together by the Los Angeles Rams so far in 2017, Jared Goff not throwing a single interception on the road may be near the top of the list.
The 2017 NFL season has been filled with plenty of accomplishments for the Los Angeles Rams ranging from the impressive 8-3 record at the moment to the offense ranking near the top of the league when it comes to points per game. Of course, Jared Goff has played a big role in helping the offense reach that level along with the help of his teammates, and as much as players enjoy playing at home, some of the former California’s best numbers have come while playing on the road this season.

In fact, Goff enters Sunday’s Week 13 meeting against the Arizona Cardinals without throwing a single interception on the road so far in 2017, which is amazing for any quarterback in the NFL to accomplish through five games away from home. What Goff has been able to accomplish so far has been nothing short of amazing for Los Angeles, and hopefully that success continues on Sunday against a Cardinals’ team playing in desperation mode to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
After failing to win a single game in seven starts as a rookie, the Rams entered the offseason with the priority of building a better offense around the former No. 1 pick in Goff, and thanks to improvement on the offensive line along with the receiving corps, the organization deserves plenty of credit for following through. Think about it, if Los Angeles didn’t go out of their way to bring on key players like Andrew Whitworth and Robert Woods, Goff wouldn’t be in this current position heading into Week 13.

The fact that all five of Goff’s interceptions have come at home with not a single one on the road is quite amazing for a second-year quarterback, but also none of that matters if the Rams fall short of their ultimate goal, which is reaching the postseason. But assuming Goff continues to play at this high of a level to keep the offense is tremendous shape while limiting the turnovers on his end, that shouldn’t be a problem for Los Angeles during the final stretch of what has been an exciting 2017 regular season.
