With the win in Arizona, the Los Angeles Rams move to 9-3 on the season, while the Cardinals fall to 5-7.
The Los Angeles Rams beat the Arizona Cardinals 32-16, to go to 9-3 on the regular season. Special teams would dominate the LA scoring as placekicker Greg Zuerlein would account for all the points quarterback Jared Goff and the offense would leave on the field.
While the Rams offense wasn’t particularly efficient in the red zone, Goff had a decent day, going 21 of 31 for 220 yards, 2 touchdowns and one interception. Receivers Sammy Watkins and Gerald Everett would both have TD receptions. Most interesting was the number of targets (7), receptions, and yards Los Angeles running back Todd Gurley would have. Gurley would lead all pass catchers with six receptions for 84 yards.
The LA defense would contribute to the cause, adding two interceptions. Alec Ogletree would return one for 41 yards, while Lamarcus Joyner would have one for another 46 yards.
The scoring star of the day, and the one who would bail out the Rams offense was Zuerlein, who was 4 for 4, with one going for 56 yards. Oddly enough, he would miss an extra point.
