After all of the struggles from a year ago, Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley had a hilarious message for fantasy football owners after Week 16.

Chances are that any fantasy football owner participating in their league’s playoffs this year who happened to have Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley on their roster ended up winning the championship when looking at the level of production from the previous two games. From his four-touchdown performance against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15 to recording 276 yards from the line of scrimmage this past weekend against the Tennessee Titans with two trips into the end zone, it’s easy to see why Gurley has quickly become the favorite to take home MVP honors.

Early on in the season, Gurley was an absolute workhorse for Los Angeles on offense, and luckily that trend continued throughout the 2017 season. One year after struggling to get anything going on offense, the Rams felt confident with the page Gurley had turned after scoring six touchdowns over his first three games of the season, but nobody could have predicted the high level of production that’s been on display over these last two weeks.

As bad as it sounds, Gurley received a ton of unfair criticism for everything that went down last season, as a weak offensive line along with the team in general struggling by averaging just 14 points per game resulted in the running back failing to record a single 100-yard rushing game. From a fantasy football perspective, owners who used a high-draft pick on Gurley were even more frustrated towards the former Georgia star, and wouldn’t hold back their frustration on social media. So after all of the hate and negative comments from a year ago, Gurley had a special message for fantasy football players this holiday season, and it was hysterical to see.

In reality, it’s a shame to see fantasy football owners attack individual players on social media whenever they’re upset over a performance since at the end, their jobs aren’t always easy to handle. But with Gurley clearly understanding the impact he must have made on fantasy football teams across the country, it was fun to see a humorous side from the Rams superstar running back, and hopefully this kind of production continues come January.
