The Los Angeles Rams were tied with the Minnesota Vikings for having seven players in the NFL Top 100 for the 2018 season.
Isn’t it amazing how quickly things can change for a team like the Los Angeles Rams in a good way? One year after being the laughing stock of the NFL by finishing with a 4-12 record, the Rams were expected to go through a rebuilding period with Sean McVay during the 2017 season, which obviously wasn’t the case since they ended up winning the NFC West.
Now, the pressure is on Los Angeles to make sure they follow up with another strong outing in 2018, as many believe they deserve consideration for being one of the early Super Bowl favorites in the NFC.
When looking at the talent they have to work with on both sides of the football, there’s every reason to believe the Rams will come through by living up to the hype.

Just how much talent does McVay have to work with? Well, when taking into consideration that this year’s version of the NFL Top 100 recently wrapped up this past season, and Los Angeles was tied with the Minnesota Vikings for most players on the list with seven, this shows why expectations are so high.
While players like Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh were expected to be on the list, it was amazing for the Rams to see other stars like Jared Goff and Todd Gurley earn recognition for the first time heading into the 2018 season.
By seeing seven players take home honors for being on this list, this just adds to the list of reasons why there’s so much hype surrounding Los Angeles as one of the top contenders not just in the NFC, but the entire league in general.
Unlike last season, the Rams will be dealing with a whole new level of pressure with targets on their backs as one of the top teams to beat, which will be interesting to see how they handle.
Then again, when seeing the seven players from the NFL Top 100 along with all of the other talent McVay has to work with, why would anyone doubt Los Angeles at this point?
