Looks like LeBron James will be attending more Los Angeles Rams games in the fall after agreeing to join the Los Angeles Lakers.

A few days ago, the Los Angeles Rams decided to have a little fun on social media by making a pitch of their own to LeBron James after the superstar decided to opt out of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

When it comes to professional sports, it’s always fun to see teams in the same city support one another, and the Rams were well aware just how special it would be to see James end up signing with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Despite James’ representatives meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, the big announcement came later in the day that James had agreed to a four-year, $153.3 million deal with the Lakers.

All of a sudden, Los Angeles just became that much stronger of a sports city now that James is part of the mix, and now that it’s official, the Rams wasted little time welcoming The King to town.

As the Rams mentioned, chances are that James will be in attendance for a few games this fall since he’s going to be in the area more while preparing for his first season as a member of the Lakers. And if all goes well for these two teams when it comes to living up to the hype of being a serious contender, the city of Los Angeles could be in for one heck of a sports year.

After emerging as a surprise contender last season by winning the NFC West, expectations are higher than ever for the Rams heading into their second year with Sean McVay as head coach.

Seeing McVay help a team coming off a four-win season turn things around as fast as they did was truly amazing, and one can only imagine what 2018 has in store for the NFC West champions.

Living up to the Super Bowl hype certainly won’t be easy, but McVay will make sure his players are ready to handle the pressure so fans won’t be disappointed. Between all of the excitement surrounding the Rams heading into training camp along with the recent news of James joining the Lakers, Los Angeles fans must be feeling pretty amazing at this point in the summer.
