2. Ebukam, Donald have monster games

No matter how hard they tried, Los Angeles had a pretty good idea that it would basically be impossible to keep Kansas City out of the end zone since there’s a reason why the team has one of the best offenses the NFL has seen in 2018. With Patrick Mahomes II finishing with six touchdown passes in the loss, the sad thing is this really wasn’t that much of a surprise, although the good news for the Rams is they did step up when needed the most.

Not to mention, as impressive as it was to see Mahomes finish with such high numbers, it should also be noted that the MVP candidate finished with five turnovers as well, with two of them resulting in touchdowns by Ebukam (one fumble recover, one interception). And if that didn’t seem impressive enough for the Rams’ defense, Aaron Donald also managed to force two fumbles on two sacks of Mahomes, showing once again he is worth every penny of that hefty contract.

Giving up 51 points to Kansas City was frustrating to see for obvious reasons, but also as mentioned before, this seemed unavoidable for Los Angeles when seeing their play from the last couple of weeks. With more performances like this from Donald and Ebukam, it’s only going to put the Rams in better position to make a run at the Super Bowl.
