3. Keep Kamara out of end zone

Looking back at the 2017 NFL Draft, Alvin Kamara will go down as one of the biggest steals when seeing how quickly he’s emerged as one of the top running backs in the league.

While most running backs are known for their damage on the ground, Kamara has proven to be just as dangerous in the passing game as well when seeing how he can turn any simple catch into a huge gain.

Just look at what Kamara was able to accomplish during the regular season meeting with the Rams after the former Tennessee star combined for 116 yards from the line of scrimmage to go along with three trips into the end zone.

Clearly, Los Angeles didn’t do the best job at preparing for this matchup with Kamara, and if they were to face New Orleans a second time in the NFC Championship, the defense better be ready to make the necessary adjustments.

Otherwise, Kamara is just going to work his way into finding the right openings to help the Saints move the football down field. Even with Mark Ingram, words can’t describe how important it is for the Rams to do whatever it takes to keep the running backs of the Saints in check.
