Los Angeles Rams: 7-Round 2019 mock draft version 1.0
By Dan Parzych
Round 6: Texas A&M DT Kingsley Keke
As mentioned before, it wouldn’t come as a surprise one bit if Los Angeles ended up using most of their draft picks to improve the defensive side of the football in April since other than the offensive line, the offense seems to be in great shape.
Like most players entering the draft, Kingsley Keke has numerous areas in need of improvement if he’s going to have any shot at making a splash at the NFL level, but the potential is certainly there for the Texas A&M defensive tackle.
Areas like his explosiveness will need improvement, but Keke has the playmaking ability that could potentially turn him into a huge steal in the draft, which Los Angeles certainly wouldn’t be disappointed about if he were to end up joining Philips’ squad.
Watching Keke end his career with the Aggies on a high note by recording 7.5 sacks as a senior shows why he’s a name worth keeping an eye on since he could provide some much-needed depth for the Rams on defense.
Then again, if Keke watches his draft stock rise over the next month or so, Los Angeles may find themselves in a position where they would need to consider selecting him higher, but for now the sixth round seems like a fair spot.
