13. Miami Dolphins: Montez Sweat, Edge, Mississippi State

Early on last season, the Miami Dolphins looked like they were going to be surprise contenders in the AFC following a surprise 3-0 start before it all fell apart, and the team would go on to miss the playoffs yet again.

To top it off, the Dolphins coming up short resulted in the team eventually moving on from Adam Gase as head coach before hiring Brian Flores as his replacement after looking at the work he accomplished with the New England Patriots.

Hiring a new head coach with a defensive mindset like Flores was a great decision by Miami since the only way to have a fighting chance in the AFC East is to have a reliable defense capable of taking down Tom Brady and company.

Like most new coaches, Flores may have to through a year of rebuilding before the Dolphins can become part of the contender conversation, but at least with a top-15 pick, the defense should be able to benefit from adding a new weapon.

Watching Montez Sweat record 22.5 sacks over the last two years at Mississippi State shows the kind of explosiveness the defensive star has, and one can only imagine how thrilled Flores would be to have the opportunity to work with the rookie.
