3. Daniel McCullers

After spending the first five years of his career with the Steelers, could Daniel McCullers be on the move to end up with a new team for the 2019 season? As bad as it sounds, early signs point to the former Tennessee star ending up on a new team, which is why McCullers is worth keeping an eye on once free agency does get underway in March.

Despite appearing in 57 games over the years for Pittsburgh, the fact that McCullers only started three of them shows he may not be a top priority to keep around with another deal.

In fact, if the Steelers really wanted McCullers around for the long run, they most likely would have rewarded him with a better extension last year instead of only giving him a one-year deal.

Defensive tackle is one of the areas the Rams are expected to focus on improving this offseason, and while McCullers obviously isn’t going to solve all their issues, at least his presence would add some depth to the position.

Since a fresh start on a different team seems like the best option for McCullers, maybe joining the Rams is just what the veteran needs at this stage in his career.
