1. David Irving

The size and strength of David Irving alone make the defensive star look like an attractive option for a team like the Rams on defense, especially if the team decides to move on from Ndamukong Suh, who joined the team last offseason on a hefty one-year, $14 million deal.

Finding a valuable undrafted free agent will always put a smile on the face of any organization, and even though Irving originally signed with the Kansas City Chiefs back in 2015, at least Dallas was able to eventually sign him from their practice squad.

Yes, most teams will avoid Irving due to some of the issues off the field he’s dealt with over the years, some of which have resulted in suspensions. But after watching the Rams take chances before on players who have been labeled as headaches, Irving could be worth the risk.

Sometimes when it comes to sports, all a player needs is a fresh start on a new team to get their career back on track, and for all Irving knows, Los Angeles could be the best opportunity.

Clearly, the Cowboys saw some sort of potential over these last two seasons in regards to Irving if they were willing to keep him around, so when it comes to potential underrated free agents for the Rams to keep an eye on, this one certainly sticks out.
