1. Johnathan Hankins

As bad as it sounds to say, the fact that Johnathan Hankins was part of a Raiders team that only won four games last year could result the defensive tackle coming  at a cheaper price for his next contract, which would be great news for the Rams if they were interested.

Ignore the fact that Hankins failed to record a single sack all of last season in Oakland despite starting 14 of 15 games he appeared in, and instead realize what he could accomplish on a team with a better defense.

In case football fans need a reminder, it was only 2014 when Hankins recorded seven sacks as a member of the New York Giants, and even if he wasn’t a starter for Los Angeles, all that would matter is the former Ohio State contributes when given the opportunity on the field.

Thanks to arguably having the game’s most dangerous defensive player in Aaron Donald, a player like Hankins could certainly benefit from playing alongside the Defensive Player of the Year, just like the rest of the Rams on defense.

Hankins isn’t going to be considered a top priority for most teams, but at least this could be viewed as an underrated move if he manages to get back on track.
