3 potential free agent targets for Los Angeles Rams from Cleveland Browns in 2019

2. Carl Davis
After an impressive career at Iowa, it seemed like only a matter of time before Carl Davis would make a serious splash at the NFL level, which still has time to happen after four season of playing average football.
Back in 2015, the Baltimore Ravens selected the defensive tackle in the third round of the draft, but Davis would eventually be waived by the team prior to the start of last season.
Since Davis was all of a sudden available, Cleveland decided to claim him off waivers, but unfortunately would only go on to play five games during the 2018 season, making it seem like his time with the Browns is about to be officially over.
Could a fresh start on a new team like the Rams be just what Davis needs to finally get his career on the right track? For all Davis knows, an opportunity to work with a defensive coordinator like Wade Phillips could finally bring out the best in the defender since Los Angeles clearly has a good system going after looking at the previous two seasons.
The potential was always there for Davis early on in his career as a member of the Ravens, and for someone who will only be 27 at the start of next season, there’s still plenty of time to turn things around.
