10. Denver Broncos: Duke Quarterback Daniel Jones

It only took the Denver Broncos one year to realize Case Keenum was not the right answer for the team under center, and while Joe Flacco could fill the short-term void under center, the team still needs to figure out a quarterback of the future.

Ever since Peyton Manning decided to call it a career, it’s been a struggle for the Broncos to find a quarterback to build the offense around, and it’s been even more frustrating for the defense to put in all the work on their end, only to have it go to complete waste for the most part.

No matter who the quarterback of the future ends up being in Denver, deep down the organization knows patience will be key, which will be easier to handle with Flacco under center.

As for who deserves consideration from the upcoming draft, while the Broncos have struck out on numerous occasions over the years with quarterbacks, Daniel Jones could be a great fit in Denver.

There was a time in which many believed the Duke quarterback could end up going No. 1 in the draft, although it doesn’t look like this will be the case anymore for obvious reasons.

Still, if Jones is given the right weapons to work with on offense, his NFL potential may be one of the highest from this year’s group of quarterbacks.
