3. Joe Thomas

Normally when it comes to the Cowboys, the offense receives most of the attention for the success thanks to the duo of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott along with Amari Cooper in the passing game.

However, the defense of Dallas deserves just as much credit when looking some of their impressive performances in 2019.

And even though Joe Thomas doesn’t always get as much attention as some of his teammates, the linebacker has still proven to be one of the most underrated members of the defense.

After spending the first four years of his career as a member of the Green Bay Packers, Thomas signed a two-year deal with the Cowboys back in 2018, meaning he’s currently in the final year of his contract.

Depending on how Dallas feels about Thomas’ future with the team, maybe the Cowboys could benefit from getting a draft pick in return for the linebacker if a trade were to take place.

Unfortunately for the Rams, the team is dealing with a few key injuries at linebacker such as Clay Matthews and Micah Kiser, although it has been great to see others step up to take advantage of the extra playing time.

Still, with all of the injuries Los Angeles is dealing with, adding some extra depth never hurts, and since Dallas appears to be in a position where they could afford to move on from Thomas, why shouldn’t the Rams at least explore the possibility?
