27. New York Jets (25)

With the way this season has been for the most part, the New York Jets knew how embarrassing it would be if they allowed the Miami Dolphins to earn their first win of 2019 on Sunday.

Unfortunately, the biggest fear of the Jets came true after coming up short in the 26-18 loss to the Dolphins to show once again just how awful Adam Gase’s first season has been as the team’s head coach.

Back in October when New York found a way to upset the Dallas Cowboys, the team seemed to be on their way to turning things around. And with Sam Darnold finally healthy enough to run the offense after missing some time due to mono, there was every reason to believe this would be the case for the Jets.

But since that big win over Dallas, New York has looked beyond horrendous over their last three games, and losing to the Dolphins was one of the most embarrassing ways to start the month of November.

At this point, the Jets are already a few losses away from their season officially being over before it’s time to look forward to next year, as sad as that sounds to say out loud.
