2. Reynolds capable of stepping up

Around this time last year, the Rams were forced to adjust their stratedgy on offense after losing Cooper Kupp to a torn ACL by having Josh Reynolds step up at wide receiver.

Even though Reynolds isn’t anywhere near the same level as Kupp, the Texas A&M product has proven on numerous occasions that when given the opportunity, he’s capable of stepping up for Los Angeles when needed the most.

Take a look at the team’s most recent trip to London in which Reynolds filled in for Cooks, and finished with his best game of 2019 by catching three passes for 73 yards to go along with a touchdown.

Similar to the situation with Kupp, Reynolds doesn’t have the kind of blazing speed or quickness that Cooks brings to the table, but his presence could still put Los Angeles in solid shape at the wide receiver position.

This situation is the entire reason why Los Angeles always felt the importance of keeping Reynolds around since teams never know when depth may be needed at certain positions, which could be the case at wideout, depending on Cooks.

Plus, Reynolds playing alongside Kupp and Robert Woods would certainly help remove some of the unnecessary pressure, meaning if the Rams were forced to be without Cooks, the offense seems like it would still be able to get by.
