3. Previous two games weren’t competitive
After suffering three tough losses in a row, it was great to see the Rams enter the bye week on a high note by winning two games against the Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals.
With both teams having one combined win at this point in the regular season, one can only imagine the high level of frustration if Los Angeles lost either of these games.
But also, as great as it was to see the Rams enter the bye week on a high note, critics didn’t hold back pointing out how Los Angeles still has plenty to prove the rest of the way since these two games were far from competitive.
Until the Rams go out, and earn an impressive win over a legitimate playoff contender, the concerns are going to continue to be there.
This may sound unfair for a team like Los Angeles, but also the three-game losing streak was that bad back towards the end of September along with part of October.
Looking at how impressive the Steelers have looked at times in recent weeks, a win on the road would be the perfect way for the Rams to prove some of the doubters wrong.
Because no matter how much Los Angeles wants to avoid being under scrutiny, it’s simply not going to disappear due to all of the previous expectations surrounding the team.
