The Los Angeles Rams suffered their fourth loss of the season in Week 10 to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After the Los Angeles Rams started off Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on a hot note with a defensive touchdown courtesy of Dante Fowler, Sean McVay‘s squad seemed to be on their way to a favorable win.

Instead, this early touchdown by the defense would end up being the only trip into the end zone for the Rams in Week 10 after Los Angeles came up short against Pittsburgh 17-12.

Between the Steelers heating up at the right time with an impressive winning streak of their own along with Heinz Field in general being a difficult place to play, Los Angeles knew this Week 10 battle was going to be a difficult one.

But whether they expected to go the entire game without a single touchdown on offense, well that’s a different story.

The loss of Brandin Cooks due to a concussion was obviously going to be a difficult adjustment on offense for the Rams, but what took place in Pittsburgh was flat-out embarrassing.

Jared Goff will receive a majority of the blame for the struggles on offense, but also the fans watching the game realized the former No. 1 pick received little to no help from the offensive line, and barely had any time to get rid of the football.

Not to mention, the fact that Cooper Kupp went the entire game without catching a single reception certainly played a key factor behind the struggles on offense as well.

Maybe if this loss took place earlier in the year, it wouldn’t seem like that big of a deal, but since Los Angeles was already on the outside looking in of the playoffs before Sunday even took place, this should be viewed as a huge deal.

At 5-4, the pressure is getting to the point for the Rams where their playoff hopes are quickly slipping away, especially when seeing how the NFC West is shaping out with the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.

Pittsburgh clearly deserves plenty of credit for pulling off the hard-fought win in this one, but this still doesn’t mean that Los Angeles deserves some slack since their offense is talented enough where a touchdown or two shouldn’t have been an issue.

If the Rams felt overwhelmed over the pressure they were feeling before after losing three games in a row, just imagine what this team will be dealing with entering Week 10 since time is running out to play catch up in the NFC playoff picture.
