3 offensive LA Rams players poised for breakout seasons in 2020

Expect Darrell Henderson to have a huge breakout season
The Rams drafted RB Darrell Henderson as the first, round 3 selection in the 2019 draft. Henderson played in 13 games as a rookie. He carried the ball 39 times for 147 yards to average 3.8 yards per carry.
Henderson played collegiately at Memphis University. He stands 5-feet-8 weighing 208 pounds. You might question his durability due to his size.
His numbers at the Combine should convince you about his strength and speed. Henderson ran a 4.49-second 40-yard dash. He bench-pressed 225 pounds 22 times. He is tough to catch and tougher to tackle.
Henderson was an explosive player at Memphis. He ran for 3545 yards with 36 touchdowns. He caught 63 passes for 758 yards with eight touchdowns.
His numbers were not impressive in 2019. Henderson had to adjust to the speed of the game. He really did not face that high caliber of talent in college as he did in the NFL. His talent should make him a reliable option in the rushing attack.
There will be fierce competition for the Rams feature back slot. Currently, there are four running backs listed on the Rams roster. Gurley and LA will, most likely, have a mutual split.
Henderson will take control of the position. McVay will scheme the running game for his strengths. The Rams will bolster the offensive line in the offseason. Let’s watch to see it all unfold.
