Pay close attention to Trevon Diggs

Trevon Diggs played at the SEC powerhouse, University of Alabama. Diggs played four seasons with 68 total tackles. In 2019, he had three interceptions and returned one for a touchdown.

Diggs stands 6-feet-2 weighing 207 pounds. He is the prototypical corner as described by Bill Walsh, physically. Walsh preferred his corners to stand 6-feet-2 weighing 195 pounds.

Charlie Campbell of walterfootball.com gives his thoughts about Diggs. He reports the following:

"… Diggs is big and can run, so he projects to being a starting corner on the outside. Multiple team sources said they graded him on the second day of the 2020 NFL Draft, but he could sneak into the first round because of his skill set."

Campbell projects his 40 yard dash time of 4.5 seconds. The combination of size and speed would allow LA to use him as a slot corner in certain situations. As the corners run the 40 yard dash, compare his speed to the other participants. Watch closer, in the shuttle runs, to see his athleticism.

Diggs older brother is Stefon Diggs, the Minnesota Vikings wide receiver. How cool would it be to watch that matchup! Diggs would be worth moving up in the draft to select. Since Diggs is a defensive back, he will participate at the NFL Scouting Combine as a member of Group 4, which arrives Wednesday, February 26th.
