Pay close attention to CJ Henderson
C.J. Henderson played three seasons at Florida. Henderson made 93 total tackles with four sacks. He made picked off six passes and returned two for touchdowns.
Henderson stands 6-feet-1 weighing 202 pounds. Walsh would find his size to be within the ideal size range. He is another big secondary player that could handle physical receivers.
Physically, he is very similar with Ramsey in size and weight. Ramsey stands 6-feet-1 weighing 208 pounds. However, Henderson might not be as speedy as Ramsey. At his Combine, Ramsey ran a 4.41-second 40-yard dash.
"Feet are really quick and hips are fluid. … Can tell he really trusts his technique and works to his landmarks with good awareness… had him matchup with the other team’s top receiver, following them all over the field. Overall, an impressive skill set to win in coverage when considering his feet, hips, quickness, speed, length, mirroring skills and awareness."
Henderson would be worth moving up to add to the Rams secondary. Hopefully, he would be able to play opposite Ramsey as a rookie. If Ramsey bolts, Henderson could fill that role. Since Henderson is also a defensive back, he will participate at the NFL Scouting Combine as a member of Group 4, which arrives Wednesday, February 26th.
