3 Running backs for the LA Rams round 4 pick

LA could possibly address other pressing needs with their first three picks. Talent is still plentiful in round 4 at the running back spot. This draft pick is valued to be $3,993,532 per overthecap.com.

In 1971, the Rams took Steve Worster from Texas in round 4. He was a major contributor to the Texas wishbone offense. LA needs a running back to play a huge role in the success of the new offense.

More from Rams Draft

Kevin O’Connell will bring a fresh approach to the Rams offense. There are quality running backs available in round 4. Could LA draft one of these three players?

First, DeeJay Dallas played a significant role in the offense at Miami, Fla. Dallas played quarterback in high school in Brunswick, GA. He averaged 6.3 yards each time he touched the football.

Next, Lamical Perine played a significant role in the Florida offense. Perine averaged 5 yards per rushing attempt and 9.4 yards per reception, in college. Imagine the possibilities O’Connell would employ with Perine.

Third, A.J. Dillon would be a flashback to the Jerome Bettis days. He stands 6-feet weighing 250 pounds. In three seasons at Boston College, he ran for 4382 yards with 38 touchdowns.

Suppose LA selects an edge rusher in round 4, LA might pick one of these three in round 6.
