In 2018, Hyde signed to play in Cleveland but was traded to Jacksonville before the trade deadline. Jacksonville released him after the season ended. He signed a one year deal with Kansas City in March of 2019 but traded months later.

Last season, Hyde ran for 1040 yards with six touchdowns. Hyde started 14 games for Houston while playing in all 16 regular-season games. He is a tough runner that LA could benefit from his skill set.

He stands 6-feet weighing 229 pounds. Hyde would be the ideal goal line pounding back. He averaged 4.4 yards per rushing attempt. Most importantly, Hyde is hungry to prove his worth as the starting running back for his new team.

How much has Hyde earned in his NFL career? He has made almost $12 million, according to spotract.com. The Rams could pay Hyde around $3 million per season.
