LA Rams draft Malik Harrison, LB the Ohio State University

LB Malik Harrison is selected after a huge career at Ohio State University.  He made 205 total tackles throughout his four collegiate seasons. He has excellent size for a linebacker standing 6-feet-3 and weighing 240-pounds.

He is the prototypical size for a linebacker. Harrison projects to become an inside linebacker in the Rams new defense. Stuffing the opposing running game is very key in controlling the line of scrimmage.

More. Michael Brockers will return to the LA Rams. light

At the Combine, he ran a 4.66-second 40-yard dash. His speed makes him an option to play as an outside edge rusher on specific downs. Versatility is how players get and stay on the playing field.

Harrison is a gifted athlete. According to his draft bio at nfl.com, the following best describes his talent:

"Harrison was a top-50 ATH recruit nationally after starting for three years at quarterback for Columbus’ Walnut Ridge High School. He wanted to play receiver at his hometown school but moved to linebacker to get more playing time given the team’s depth on offense."

Here is the fifth pick for the Rams 2020 draft.
