LA Rams news: 2019 offensive line woes have a 2020 silver lining
By Bret Stuter
Vote of confidence
While fans voice their dissatisfaction, the team sent a different message to the offensive linemen on the roster. That message was simply a vote of complete confidence.
The team that went 9-7 last season with this offensive line, as banged up as it was, is rerolling the dice. Why is there any reason to have confidence? This was a busted and banged-up offensive line that managed to hold it together for a better than .500 season. Is there any logical reason as to why that same devastating rate and extent of injuries will ravage the offensive line this season?

Finally, why won’t this offensive line be that much more experienced, that much more prepared, than last year? This year’s roster includes adding two players in Austin Corbett and Coleman Shelton in midseason who had never trained with any teammates prior to arriving on the roster.
After all that adversity, the team still remained within arm’s reach of the NFL Playoffs. This year, with a fresh set of legs at running back, a reformed receiving corps, and the likelihood of using more two tight-end formations, the Rams should be confident about their 2020 season. All that remains to the optimistic picture that is forming is how will these Rams train together and fix so many problems up front?
