Time to embrace the LA Rams’ perfect imperfections
By Bret Stuter
Positive factors
The fact remains that the LA Rams:
– Hold two 1,000 yard rushers on the roster
– Have one of the best offensive planners in the NFL
– Drafted a very talented and well-suited running back for the team’s offense
– Welcome back all five starting offensive linemen back from injury last season
– Boast All-Pro defensive lineman Aaron Donald on defense
– Boast shut down cornerback Jalen Ramsey
– Boast one of the best defensive backfields in the NFL
Place these facts upon the Cleveland Browns or the Dallas Cowboys, and suddenly the offseason narrative includes several paragraphs about who their Super Bowl opponent might be this year. That’s okay. LA Rams fans don’t need to be built up.
You can find it in the comments section of our articles, or on social media. LA Rams fans don’t need a perfect team. This is a team with its own built-in drama. While other teams go about managing a salary cap, the LA Rams have turned the financial aspects of roster management into a Rubik’s cube. The Rams have hotly contested competition taking shape for playing time at virtually 75 percent of the starting roles.
