LA Rams: Ranking NFC West TEs for fantasy football drafts
By Larry Brake
Any Seattle TE belongs in the Bad group
The Seattle Seahawks are live and die by the play of quarterback Russell Wilson. They support him with a running game that is also set up by the arm of Wilson. In 2019, he threw for 4110 yards with 31 touchdowns.

There were two tight ends that Wilson targeted. Tight end Jacob Hollister caught 41 passes for 349 yards with 3 touchdowns. His teammate, the younger Will Dissly caught 23 passes for 262 yards with 4 touchdowns. Dissly has shown flashes of brilliance, but his NFL career has been fraught with injuries so far. In fantasy scoring, Hollister scored 93 points. Dissly scored 73 points in 2019. They scored far fewer points than either Kittle or Higbee. Even combined, they barely match the output of Higbee.
Niche roles
The only reason to select either one of these tight ends is because of a good match up. In fact, Hollister would be a good back up for your regular starting tight end. Dissly, if healthy, is a good option for goal-line touchdowns. Remember, these players accounted for 15 percent of Wilson’s passing yards total. Seahawks wide receivers D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett accounted for 48 percent of Wilson’s passing yardage. The remaining 37 percent is spread among running backs and various wide receivers.
Look out for Luke Willson in upcoming Seattle games. He is capable of having a good statistical game but has a difficult time staying healthy. Inconsistency is the best characteristic of this tight ends group. The Seahawks had even added the venerable tight end, Greg Olsen. But his career is simply sunsetting now, and he’ll likely push one of the other tight ends off the roster. It is highly doubtful that any Seattle tight end will lead you to your fantasy league championship. There might be a good matchup that you could exploit for your benefit.
