Question five

How good are these Bills after beating up on AFC East weaklings?
Ramblin Fan: Despite the 2-0 start, the Bills have beaten up on two AFC East teams who are not projected to be playoff-caliber teams. Do you expect the Bills to focus upon the Rams (despite this being an NFC West opponent), or at risk of looking past the Rams toward the following week’s opponent, the Las Vegas Raiders?
Buffalo Down: One of the things that have stood out since Sean McDermott took over as head coach almost immediately is how disciplined his teams are. They are not known for mental lapses during a game and the coaching staff does a great job making sure their players are ready to go for that week. While the Bills entered the season with a lot of hype and talk about AFC East division titles I believe they still have that underdog mentality and want to constantly prove themselves. They know that there is a 2-0 Rams team coming into their stadium and I don’t see any way they look past them this week.

Question Six

And here we get down to it. How does this one look to the Bills?
Ramblin FanWhat do you see as the keys to the game? Final score prediction?
Buffalo Down: The biggest key to the game for the Buffalo Bills is going to be to protect Josh Allen. The Bills offensive line has done a good job of giving Allen time in the pocket for those longer developing pass plays. However, this is easier said than done with Aaron Donald lining up on the other side of the ball. I fully expect the Bills to come out with a gameplan of quick passes to get the ball out of Josh Allen’s hands and into their playmakers like Diggs and Brown.

This will likely be a high scoring game, especially if the Bills are without Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano, but the Buffalo Bills do enough for a 34-27 win.

Next. LA Rams ILB Kenny Young may be as good as advertised, after all. dark

And that’s what we’ve seen this year so far.  The Rams have not allowed a 20 point or more score against the defense yet. And this Rams team is playing great football. Still, it’s not noticed. Is it due to the fact that the Rams are not following the preseason narrative? Or is it a natural delay of consensus-building? Whatever the cause,  I think that the Rams will do better than a seven-point loss in this one. In fact, we expect a W in week three.

Be sure to check out Buffalodown.com this week to see what the Buffalo Bills are planning. And give both @BrandonCroce and @Buffalowdown a follow on Twitter as well. If you want to check out the questions posed to me, check out this article.  After all, they are our opponents for one game this season. But when they face the San Francisco 49ers, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Arizona Cardinals later this season, they will be our allies. And our thanks to Brandon Croce for his time and assistance in helping us see this one from the Buffalo Bills perspective.  Here’s to hoping both teams emerge fully healthy from this one.
