The LA Rams were in a three-way tie for the lead of the NFC West at this time a week ago. But after dropping a hard-fought game to the Buffalo Bills on the road, the Rams are now in a three-way tie for second place. If the Rams lose to the visiting NY Giants, the teams will find itself in the NFC West basement.

The Rams should be better than that. So far, the team remains relatively healthy, relatively hungry, relatively honest. The Rams’ ability to stay humble in games that they should win handily comes into play when the Rams take on their third NFC East opponent.  While this is truly a game that the LA Rams should win on paper, overconfidence can lead to laziness, mental lapses, and bad performance.

Home field advantage

With the Rams playing for only the second time at home in SoFi Stadium, anything less than a solid win is unlikely.
