The LA Rams will be working hard to improve over their 10-6 season. Why? Well for starters, they will have an opportunity to host next year’s Super Bowl and compete in it as well. To that end, they’ve already shot out of the gates with a blockbuster trade for veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford.

The addition of Stafford is the start, but not the end, of moves that the LA Rams will need to compete for the next Super Bowl. To adhere to whatever plans are in place, the LA Rams will need to fill all coaching positions with talented personnel, free up sufficient cap space, economically and effectively participate in the NFL Free Agency market, hit on a majority of their 2021 NFL Draft picks, preparing more effective for the 2021 NFL Season, and remaining healthy through the season.

The goal is worthy. SoFi Stadium is the crown jewel of the NFL.  But it stands alone, a monument that reflects the best in technology and architecture of today and well into tomorrow. LA Rams fans wait patiently to witness the architectural wonder, hoping it will be worth it.  It will be.

The LA Rams know that the next Super Bowl will be played in SoFi Stadium. They’ve already begun to up the ante for this season’s outcome by investing more draft picks into the quarterback position. Now the Rams must cover their wager by ensuring that this roster, this year, can win it all. That means roster changes, new strategies, and taking risks.

Whatever you know about the Rams organization, know this. Head coach Sean McVay is driven to win a Super Bowl for Los Angeles. He’s shed Todd Gurley, Brandin Cooks, Clay Matthews, and now Jared Goff to position the team for a Super Bowl run. So you can bet that more changes are likely on the way.

The Rams have fallen short in each of the past four seasons. That means that the team does not yet have it all figured out. But they are working to do so this offseason. If you are nervous, that’s okay. Everyone was nervous at this time a year ago. Recall how everyone wanted the Rams to re-sign all of their outgoing stars and ignore their offensive line free agents, urging the team to draft rookies to take over. Instead, the Rams re-signed their offensive linemen and drafted defensive rookies to fill roster holes.

That same uneasiness dampens fans’ optimism once more. But this is merely the point in time where the Rams are taking up the old carpet and stripping the walls of old paint. It won’t be pretty. Trust this team to do what it does best, make unconventional moves that will all come together in training camp. The Rams got as far as the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs in a year where many analysts expected the team to win just six games.

The Rams will be ready. Will you?
