One of the most recognizable characteristics of LA Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald is his uncanny strength and power. That type of raw power is almost impossible to replicate at the college level. Still, Ohio State’s defensive lineman Tommy Togiai gives that trait a run for the money.

Togiai is another player who falls under the 6-foot-4 threshold for NFL defensive linemen. He stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 296-pounds, a solid if not eye-popping size for a young man hoping to make his mark in professional football. While outlandish production has not yet happened for Togiai, outlandish strength certainly has.

Power is a key trait for shorter-statured defensive linemen. Pure power gives an irresistible advantage in leverage at the line of scrimmage, and leverage is something that Togiai would benefit from tremendously by working with Donald and other defensive linemen on the LA Rams roster.
