By the time that the LA Rams finally get to choose, they may be picking late in round two or may even be picking even later. Even with just six picks heading into the draft, the LA Rams have not held back, meeting with up to 24 players before the 2021 NFL Draft.

While the Rams may not have the opportunity to select from that group, there is much to be gleaned about the nature of which positions the team is most drawn to. And of course, which rounds those players are projected to hear their name called.

Getting a solid read on the LA Rams leading up to this draft has been tougher than usual. With so many new positional coaches, it’s hard to determine where roster changes are most likely. On defense, we know that the team’s needs seem to be: (1) Cornerback (2) Edge rusher (3) Linebacker (4) Defensive lineman. On offense, we know that the team’s needs seem to be (1) Center (2) Deep threat WR/Special teams’ KR/PR (3) Offensive lineman (guard or tackle)
