Peters plays with double-edged passion

If you thought that the anger and ire of former LA Rams cornerback Marcus Peters would wane over time? Well, time to revisit that theory.  You see if you give him a hot microphone, you have to just accept whatever happens next.  It started when the LA Rams hosted the Baltimore Ravens later in 2019. On that night, it was all Marcus Peters, as the Ravens embarrassed the Rams 45-6 in Los Angeles. But the entire game, as this video shows,  Peters trolled Jalen Ramsey relentlessly.

Of course, Ramsey doesn’t take that lying down. And the Rams All-Pro defensive back had heard enough, as this video showed, and he didn’t back down from the anger-fueled disrespect by Peters.  And while it was certainly the Ravens night, I’m not sure that many LA Rams fans regret upgrading the secondary with Jalen Ramsey.

And that continues to fuel the anger that has become part of the legacy of Marcus Peters. So much infused, that years later he still claims that he feels disrespected.

Of course, if this were a World Wide Entertainment production, this would just be a new storyline that was fabricated as a ‘hook’ for an upcoming pay-per-view event. Instead, it just serves to sell the LA Rams face-off with the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore as it was the ‘extra’ game assigned to the Rams schedule for 2021.
