September 2021

Week 1: Sept. 12 – Hosting Chicago Bears (8-8) (SNF), 5;20 pm PT
Week 2: Sept 19 – At Indianapolis Colts (11-5), 10:00 am PT
Week 3: Sept 26 – Hosting Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5), 1:25 pm PT

September can truly set the LA Rams off on their course to the Super Bowl, or give life to questions about the Rams’ ability to get to the playoffs. This is the toughest segment of their schedule, and all eyes will train upon the season opener to get a bead on how good the LA Rams will play with Matthew Stafford under center. But who will be playing center? Ah, that’s another observation so many will be making.
Toughest Game? Tampa Bay Buccaneers (The familiar W W L pattern, remember?).
Easiest Game?  Chicago Bears. LA Rams head coach Sean McVay seems to do his best game plan against them.

October 2021

Week 4: Oct. 3 –  Hosting Arizona Cardinals (8-8), 1:25 pm PT
Week 5: Oct. 7–  At Seattle Seahawks (12-4) (TNF), No5:20 pm PT
Week 6: Oct. 17 – At New York Giants (6-10), 10:00 am PT
Week 7: Oct. 24 – Hosting Detroit Lions (5-11), 1:05 pm PT
Week 8: Oct 31 – At Houston Texans (4-12), 10:00 am PT

From the setting of another summer, the Rams face a fierce October with an astonishing lack of intimidation from the only month with five NFL games. September’s gauntlet carries over into the first two weeks of October, where the Rams will have to face five NFL opponents with 2020 records of a grueling 50 win 30 loss combined record. That’s to sledding.

Thankfully, the Rams close out the month facing three opponents whose combined records are 15-33. How will the Rams welcome back Jared Goff? I’m not sure how he will be received by the fans nor by the head coach at this point.
Toughest Game? At New York Giants. The Giants were a surprisingly difficult opponent in 2020, and they got better. Besides, it’s after a vitally important TNF contest at the Seahawks.
Easiest Game? At Houston Texans. I know the Texans are under new management. But QB Deshaun Watson is still pissed off. The Texans will tank for the top 2022 quarterback.
