In less than 24 hours, the LA Rams will be heading home from Indianapolis Indiana, where the Rams will take on the Indianapolis Colts. And so far, we’ve been giving out some very profitable advice when it comes to when and how to place a wager on the LA Rams. But gamblers are very familiar with the fact that they are rewarded for taking risks, risks that by definition are chances to lose.

So the Ramblin fan streak of 5 for 5 wins is not realistically sustainable. But we don’t take high-risk gambles, but rather try to stay within a better than average comfort zone where perceived odds are better than the Las Vegas established odds.

Big Man Picks

The Big Man picks in the video below starts at the 15:30 mark.  In that segment, Nick Mangold gives up the points at (-4.0) and chooses the LA Rams on the road over the Indianapolis Colts. Orlando Pace gives up the points (-3.5) and chooses the New Orleans Saints over the Carolina Panthers in Week 2.

The LA Rams travel to face the Indianapolis Colts this week, and the odds for a victory are less certain today than when the line opened. When the line opened at WynnBet, you would have needed to give up 4.5 points to take the Rams. Now, the Rams are just (-3.5 point) favorites.

One of the reasons for the falling odds is the realization that the Colts faced a similar LA Rams-type offense last week against the Seattle Seahawks. Now, they face the same offensive philosophy when the Rams come to town. That has made some of the smart money a bit skeptical over the Rams’ chances of defeating the second consecutive playoff team, this time on the road.

Ramblin Fan recommendations

In our original prediction for Week 2, we recommended taking the Rams and giving up the points (-4.5 points), and we won’t back down on that now. We also recommended taking the over at 47.5 points. Since that time, the over has climbed to 48.0.  I’m more skeptical over the ability of the Indianapolis Colts to score now than earlier, so if you didn’t bet the over at 47.5, I am neutral on the over at 48.0 points.

To replace that bet, we like the “Anytime TD Scorer” odds for LA Rams wide receiver Robert Woods at +100.  This bet is simple, taking the bet is gambling that Woods will score a touchdown in this one. His first score of the season, a two-yard toe-tapper touchdown at the back of the endzone was a masterpiece. Riding that momentum, look for Woods to be targetted often in this one, and he will deliver a touchdown.

Recommended Picks:
LA Rams (-3.5)
LA Rams WR Robert Woods will score a touchdown (+100)
