Did you hear the news? After suffering defeat at the hands of the LA Rams once more, this time in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady has decided to call it quits. After losing three games to the LA Rams, it’s no more Brady.

Love him or hate him, there is no denying him. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was an incredibly successful NFL Quarterback, winning Super Bowls while playing for both an AFC team (the New England Patriots) and an NFC team (the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But since coming to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he met a few impasses.

And yet, Tom Brady is a very polarizing player in the NFL. Polarizing, because if he plays for your team, you love him. But if he defeats your team in the playoffs or the Super Bowl? Well, not so much.  It was Brady who led the New England Patriots to deny the St. Louis Rams from repeating as Super Bowl Champions in SB XXXVI.

Brady beats McVay’s Rams in Round One

He was the same Tom Brady and the New England Patriots who were there, once again, to stop the LA Rams and HC Sean McVay from winning his first Super Bowl appearance in SB LIII. Man, that guy gets around, doesn’t he?

He was with the New England Patriots for 20 seasons. For a quarterback, that is likely something that won’t be repeated. And yet, for Brady, he was not done in the NFL just yet. He tested the NFL Free Agency market in 2020 and after being linked to nearly each NFL team, he finally settled in with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He can to the Bucs to win Super Bowls, which he immediately delivered in his first season with the team.

Goals met, the last thing left for his career was when would he retire.  For that news, we would need to wait until QB Tom Brady would be ready. And he would not be ready as long as he was winning Super Bowls.  Well, the LA Rams ended that run.
