Show who the money?

The other unique (or more exaggerated) challenge for the LA Rams this year is the paltry value of their draft picks in the 2022 NFL Draft.  While the team has eight picks, all but one fall on Day 3 of the NFL Draft, and no pick is among the Top-100 picks in this draft. Every other team will have made at least two selections in this draft before the LA Rams make their first pick. Some teams will have made as many as five selections.

Since the team is at the bottom of the 32-team Totem Pole where the draft is concerned, the front office will need to compensate by having a very successful Rams Free Agency outcome this year. Particularly, the team will be making every effort to extend key players for next season.

So the question is, who will be re-signed?

We’ve done the heavy lifting for you and have already created our LA Rams Free Agent Tracker. We will continue to update the article as news becomes available, so check back on it frequently.

To get a pulse of the Rams fan base, I’ve been monitoring the topic on as many as seven different chat rooms, forums, and fan boards. From what the majority of comments posted seem to suggest, the Rams are expected to re-sign:

Von Miller, Odell Beckham Jr., Coleman Shelton, Joseph Noteboom, Matt Gay, John Wolford, Travin Howard, Johnny Mundt, Sony Michel, Austin Corbett, Brian Allen, Donte Deayon, and Sebastian Joseph Day. To be honest, I would be mildly surprised if the LA Rams extend half of the players in the above list.
