The Los Angeles Rams are trying to get out of the Cooper Kupp business, as the emergence of WR Puka Nacua and Kupp's struggles to stay healthy has forced the team to seek a trade for the player who played an integral role in the franchise's first Super Bowl win in Los Angeles.
The Rams, who drafted Nacua in the fifth round just two years ago, might be so confident in Les Snead and his drafting ability that they will try to reboot their receiving corps with one of these young standouts in the 2025 NFL Draft.
If the Rams end up using one of their top draft picks on a wide receiver, which could be even more likely depending on the return for Kupp and how much Snead is willing to spend in free agency, these three targets make all the sense in the world.

3. Jaylin Noel, Iowa State
While Cyclones teammate Jayden Higgins may be the superior prospect in the eyes of many teams, the Senior Bowl confirmed that both Noel and Higgins will be picked on Day 2 in the draft. The smaller, quicker Noel may be a better stylistic fit for the Rams than the 6-3 possession receiver Higgins.
Noel has had some issues with drops throughout his college career, but that concern is likely not big enough to where the Rams should take him off the board. His ceiling is much higher than most third-round wide receivers available in this class.
2. Xavier Restrepo, Miami
Restrepo was on the receiving end of many a Cam Ward pass this season, so much so that his speed and quickness at the line of scrimmage have helped make him a viable pro prospect. McVay has had oodles of success with players like Restrepo, who is a tick or two faster than Kupp ever was.
Restrepo could be a perfect Day 2 target for a Rams team that still wants to get the ball out of Matthew Stafford's hands as quickly as possible, Restrepo may never hit Kupp's peak, but he could have a 1,000-yard season or two in his future should he go to the right scheme.
1. Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State
Wide receiver may end up being such a big need for the Rams that they use a first-round pick to fill that hole. With Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan a lock to be selected in the Top 10, the race for the WR2 title is down to Egbuka and Missouri standout Luther Burden III.
Even if Burden is off the board now, Egbuka profiles as one of the safer prospects in this class. With tremendous downfield playmaking, consistent solid performance against his best opponents, and exceptional route-running on intermediate concepts, Egbuka was built to play in McVay's offense.
