Wide receiver Puka Nacua is the key contributor on the Los Angeles Rams' offense. In many games, it all seems to run through Nacua's gritty ability to create separation, fight through the most physical secondaries, and put up plenty of yards after the catch.

But after a Week 1 injury, he has sat out the previous two games.

Well, fans can be glad that he is suiting up for Week 4. And just in time, as the Rams must face the ever-formidable Philadelphia Eagles. Exactly how much work, though, will Nacua get in this one? Per NFL insider Adam Schefter, Los Angeles expects him to be a full participant in the game.

Nacua was benched for two games with a groin injury that limited how quickly he could launch into his routes. Groin injuries heal slowly. The very tests to determine how well he can push off, plant his foot, and pivot can aggravate the injury. The team opted to be cautious and allowed Nacua to heal on his own schedule.

They did not force him back to the football field.

Puka Nacua could help Matthew Stafford find his groove

So far, quarterback Matthew Stafford has not been himself. Even as his passing yards and touchdown passes check the volume box, he has already thrown four interceptions, including a pick-six, and completed just over 60 percent of his passes.

Stafford finished the 2025 season with a completion rate of 65 percent. Much of that phenomenal accuracy was thanks to Nacua, who caught 129-of-166 passes, for a catch rate of 77.7 percent, and put up over 1700 receiving yards in 16 games.

So far, the offense has found ways to move the chains and score without Nacua, with mixed results. It's clear Stafford misses his top target. In three games, he has not been very adept at rallying the troops in the second half. With Nacua's return, fans can expect the old Stafford to show up.

LA will need the Nacua-Stafford chemistry to be at its peak. Winless in four games, Stafford has yet to overcome the Eagles since being traded to the Rams in 2021. Today is the day to snap that losing streak.

As always, thanks for reading.
