Rams offensive line peaking at the right time
The LA Rams offensive line has finally started the same five offensive linemen in four consecutive games. Not surprisingly, the team has won the past four games, thanks to superb pass blocking and a newly found rushing offense. Of course, not even the originally designed offensive line was up to the challenge of the 2024 NFL season.
And so the Rams front office came through once more as it often does, and selected former Arkansas powerhouse center Beaux Limmer in Round 6 to join the Rams in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Rams rookie center has continued to draw praise from NFL experts all season as he has become the lynchpin to one of the most impressive offensive line units in the latter part of the 2024 NFL season.
While the team has finally settled on a solid starting five offensive linemen, keep in mind that heavy lifting in terms of blocking for this offense also falls to wide receivers, tight ends, and even to the running back. And the Rams have a solid blocker in running back Kyren Williams, who excels at picking up blitzers:
But that is not the only way that RB Kyren Williams has helped the offense out this season. He has rushed for 1,241 yards and 13 touchdowns. Not only are those career highs, but the Rams offense has not witnessed that lever of production from a singly running back since Todd Gurley churned out 1,251 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2018, the year that the Rams competed in Super Bowl LIII.
Will Williams ability to run the football carry the team to another Super Bowl?
