The Los Angeles Rams were just a touchdown away from clinching a spot in Super Bowl LX. But one failed red zone drive late in the fourth quarter ultimately doomed the Rams from winning the NFC Championship Game in Lumen Stadium in Seattle, Washington.

Instead, the Rams watched their season end at the hands of the rival Seattle Seahawks, by the score of 31-27.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford showed why he is considered the favorite to win the NFL MVP Award, as he threw for 374 yards and three touchdowns to no interceptions in defeat. He put the team on his back and nearly pulled out a victory, but it was all for naught.

Instead, the Seahawks are going to Super Bowl 60, along with a familiar face — former Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

After the game, Stafford was filmed looking around for Kupp, who joined the Seahawks last offseason after getting released. Stafford finally found Kupp and shared a moment with him. Inside the NFL cameras released a new clip and revealed what Stafford told Kupp.

"Quit making me look for you so f**king long. Go win your damn Super Bowl, kid," Stafford told Kupp.

This will hit Rams fans in the feels. Seeing Stafford reaching out to Kupp to wish him good luck in Super Bowl 60.

Kupp had been with the Rams organization from 2018 until the end of last season. Kupp solidified himself in a couple of years as not only their best player on offense, but also as one of the top receivers in the game.

Look no further than the 2021 season, where he nearly broke Calvin Johnson's single-season receiving yards record, but fell 18 yards short.

Kupp had logged 1,947 receiving yards on 145 receptions, which was enough to win the AP Offensive Player of the Year Award.

That season, Kupp also helped the Rams win their second Lombardi Trophy after catching 8-of-10 targets for 92 yards and two touchdowns in their 23-20 Super Bowl 56 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Kupp was also named Super Bowl MVP.

But after the 2024 season, the Rams decided to part ways with Kupp, who had a high salary and dealt with injuries in his final years with the organization. After eight years with the Rams, Kupp had 634 receptions, 7,776 receiving yards, and 57 receiving touchdowns to his credit.

The Seahawks jumped at the opportunity to sign Kupp. Not only was he a former division rival that they could take a chance on, but was also a Washington native. The move paid off this season. Even though he didn't light up the stat sheets as he did with the Rams, he played a role in the Seahawks earning another trip to the Super Bowl for the first time in over 10 years.

In the regular season, Kupp caught 47-of-70 targets for 593 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games. Once the playoffs began, Kupp recorded five receptions for 60 yards on five targets in the Divisional Round against the San Francisco 49ers, and caught four-of-six targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in the NFC Championship Game.

It may be hard for Rams fans to cheer the Seahawks in the Super Bowl. But even though they are on separate teams in the NFC West, Stafford is pulling for his former teammate in the big game.
