II - This hurler will likely return to the practice squad

The team may not have done a spectacular job with their backup quarterback role in 2023, but they seem to have taken a liking to reserve quarterback Dresser Winn. Winn is a 6-foot-2 215-pound pocket passer out of the University of Tennessee at Martin. The team signed him after the 2023 NFL Draft and surprisingly retained him on the team's practice squad.

Dresser Winn is a fiery competitor who has the makings of an NFL backup quarterback. While nothing jumps off the page about him that screams NFL quarterback, the fact that he was undrafted yet still on the Rams roster more than a year later is enough to say that he has something about him that the team and coaches very much appreciate.

The thing is, he is a fourth quarterback on a team that will carry no more than three quarterbacks on the roster.

Will will do quarterback things throughout OTAs and training camp, and will likely see action in preseason games. But when the time comes to pare down the roster, he will be released. With any luck, he will end up on the team's practice squad once more.
